The Board of Optometry determined at the August 11th, 2020 board meeting that due to the Covid-19 emergency and the limited availability of in-person CE offerings, the board will not perform a CE audit for the 2020/2021 renewal cycle. Although a CE audit will not be performed, the board acknowledges and recognizes that continuing education is an important part of continued competency and strongly encourages licensees to seek and utilize other methods of course delivery in order to stay up to date with their continuing education.
